Experiment Gone Wrong

... or not so wrong ?

So, this was originally a photograph I took with my mobile phone (My father was taking pictures, so I took one or two as well). I wanted to edit the colors with GIMP... then I ended up making the picture grayscale and painting over it. It... just happened ^^"
Just so you know, this is an old barbecue that my father and my brother use when playing with fire and/or things that explode / make a lot of smoke / whatever, so it's quite damaged and we don't use it to cook food anymore. When taking the picture, I wanted to emphasize the messy and dirty feel it has, I don't know how it came out ^^"
In short, this is an experiment and IMO it gave an interesting result

Une expérience qui a mal tourné

A la base, c'est une photo que j'ai prise avec mon portable (Mon père a commencé à prendre des photos de ça alors j'en ai fait autant). Je voulais modifier les couleurs avec GIMP... et j'ai fini par mettre la photo en noir et blanc et par colorier par-dessus... Je sais pas trop comment j'en suis arrivée là ^^"

Pour information, c'est le vieux barbecue dans lequel mon père et mon frère s'amusent à faire du feu, ou des trucs qui explosent, qui font un tas de fumée, tout ça, donc il est dans un drôle d'état et on ne s'en sert plus pour faire à manger. Pour la photo, j'ai essayé de mettre en évidence l'effet désordonné et sale que ça fait, je sais pas ce que ça donne. En résumé, c'est une expérience, et je trouve le résultat intéressant.
