Mudkip Gijinka Cosplay - 2 by pwassonne Mudkip Gijinka Cosplay - 2 by pwassonne
is the costume I wore at Japan Expo 2012 in Paris. I made the hat myself, as well as a tail which isn't on the picture because it is in my back. (Actually, it might be better that you can't see it, because it was already more or less falling apart by the time the picture was taken). All the rest was bought. The fan wasn't supposed to be part of the costume at first. I included it because my T-shirt got make-up stains and I needed something to hide them on the pictures. (The watch isn't part of the costume. I simply forgot to take it off.)

Costume and model: *ze-gobou (yours truly)

Honestly, I would barely call this a cosplay, you are wearing a mudkip hat and thats about it. The pose and idea are cute, but you could maybe have had the tail/fins etc...at least some orange spots in the clothes? The fan seems really random and you would probably want to make one that is more fitting for the cosplay...

Thank you very much for the input!
Actually, I had the tail, but it doesn't show on the picture because it's behind me. I didn't think of showing it on the pictures (I hadn't taken the time to prepare any poses, which was a mistake).
As for the fan, some people found that it was reminiscent of Mudkip's tail, but the truth is, I used it to hide make-up stains I had made on my T-shirt earlier that day. It was originally meant to go with a Lolita outfit I wore on another day of the same convention. ^^
Again, thank you very much for the feedback! =)
